Sponsorship Opportunities
There are several projects that are in need of sponsors. The project name, purpose and timeline are shown below.
1. Light House Gospel Missions School
This project was slated to begin in 2006 and is scheduled to complete in August, 2007. This school will double as housing for its students. Fundraising is ongoing.
2. Light House Gospel Missions Church
This project is to begin in 2008 and is scheduled to complete in August, 2009. Fundraising has begun and is ongoing.
3. Eden Junior High School
This project has been initiated by Pastor Stephen and Lydia Mirembe. The school's target group is orphans whose parent have died of HIV/AIDS but will accept orphans of any kind. The school will be located in Kibeya-Kampala. The school is located in an area where 99% of the subsistence crops are for home consumption. There is very little economic base and the area infrastructure (school, health unit, roads, etc...) has been severely damage by the five year war.Health conditions remain very poor because of the lack of supplies, materials and adequately trained caregivers. The aim of the project is to decrease ignorance and illiteracy by providing school materials and other support to the orphans housed at the school. The financial support raised during this project will be used to meet the following goals: |
